Shuichi Hashiyama is a Corporate Officer, CTO and Director of TDK Corporation. As the General Manager of Technology & Intellectual Property HQ, he leads the promotion of global research and development initiatives as well as formulates and executes intellectual property strategies. Hashiyama-san has been an integral part of TDK Corporation since 1990, building a diverse career across multiple strategic functions, including research and development, sales, marketing, and corporate strategy, within the company.

Prior to his current role, Hashiyama-san served as General Manager of Corporate Strategy HQ and General Manager of the Energy Systems Business Group, a group within the Energy Solutions Business Company=. His earlier roles included positions in the Automotive department of Electronic Components Sales & Marketing Group, New Business Promotion Group, Europe Sales & Marketing Group, and Corporate R&D Center.
