Stephen started Lambda in 2012. Lambda provides AI compute services to the largest companies on the planet. Previously, Stephen was the first hire at Perceptio, an AI research firm acquired by Apple in 2015. Perceptio trained and optimized convnets that ran locally on the iPhone’s GPU. He studied computer science and economics at the University of Michigan.
